Now available: EJBCA Enterprise Certificate Management REST API
We are excited to announce the release of version 1.0 of the EJBCA Enterprise Certificate Management REST API. This is a modern and easy-to-use tool to leverage the power of the EJBCA platform for certificate enrollment and lifecycle management.
One of the things that has made EJBCA Enterprise stand out through the years is the focus on providing standard based interfaces and application programming interfaces (APIs), such as SCEP, CMP, EST, Web Services and more. This has enabled PrimeKey’s customers and partners to easily integrate their products and solutions with EJBCA.
With the new REST API we take this one step further. The brand-new REST API provides straightforward functionality for accessing and updating certificate- and CA data. In other words, you only need limited knowledge about PKI and PKI formats to leverage EJBCA Enterprise. The REST API can be used in combination with the EJBCA RA (Registration Authority) and optionally also leverage the PrimeKey Peer Protocol. This allows all communications to the CA to be proxied via the RA, over a secure TLS (Transport Layer Security) connection provided by the EJBCA Peers Protocol.
The new EJBCA Enterprise REST API will support PrimeKey’s customers and partners with an easy-to-use integration interface for their device management, IOT platforms or other e-business solutions. This helps assure that relevant security can be built in from the start. Many organizations fail in their security as they try the difficult task of implementing a complete security solution as an add-on to an already finished product. By making it easy to integrate and deploy our products, PrimeKey hopes to help solve this problem.
Easy to try Cloud Edition
EJBCA Enterprise Cloud Edition is available in AWS and starts the moment you select “Launch with 1-click”. A 30-day free software trial is available. AWS infrastructure costs will apply.
