PrimeKey strengthens presence in France with new subsidiary

PrimeKey is establishing a new subsidiary in France to better support customers and expand in Be-Lux, France and southern Europe, as well as French-speaking Africa. In early 2022, PrimeKey is planning to join the Cyber Campus in La Défense, Paris, which will be the heart of cybersecurity in France.

The Cyber Campus is a new cybersecurity hub that will bring together the main national and international players in the field, in a brand new building in the major business district La Défense. The new location will strengthen our presence in France and puts PrimeKey in the center of the cybersecurity buzz, allowing us to work even more closely with local customers, partners, and community users.

Being one of Europe’s largest industrial markets, France has a long tradition of driving development within cybersecurity and PKI. PrimeKey supports more than a dozen prestigious and large organizations in France with QTSP (Qualified Trust Service Providers) services, corporate PKI, industrial PKI, and code signing. The large local group of community users are also highly valued at PrimeKey, giving their feedback to improve the software.

Cloud adoption strategy puts high requirements on security

Accelerated by the cloud adoption strategy and the ongoing Gaia-X project, French public authorities and organizations are moving to cloud services, which put high requirements on secure communication and trusted digital identities.

“With the increased investment and the new office in France, we can now help even more organizations to secure their data and communication as they are going through this major shift to cloud” says Pierre Codis, PrimeKey Director of Sales Be-Lux, France & Southern Europe.

Open-source foundation and world-beating PKI

As one of the world’s leading companies for cryptography, PKI, and digital signing, and the solid open-source foundation, PrimeKey offers French customers trusted expertise and long experience of large-scale deployments all over the world.

Thanks to the merge with Keyfactor in June 2021, the combined offering is now even stronger with machine identity management, crypto-agility, and PKI as-a-Service.

PrimeKey's team in Paris

Pierre Codis is PrimeKey’s Director of Sales for Be-Lux, France & Southern Europe and head of the new Paris office. The team also includes Mohamed Barakat and Jérôme Ducros, who both have broad experience of PKI and signing solutions within enterprises, public sector, IoT and Industrial IoT.
