PrimeKey joins the Swedish National Cybersecurity Node

Cybersecurity

PrimeKey joins the Swedish National Cybersecurity Node to strengthen cybersecurity research and innovation initiatives in Sweden and throughout the European Union. The Swedish node for innovation and research in cybersecurity was established last year to support Swedish innovation in IT security. The node is financed by Vinnova and coordinated by Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), a Swedish state-owned research institute with the longterm goal to increase Swedish exports in the area by enabling a favorable climate for innovation and supporting the development of new products and services. Additionally, the Swedish National Cybersecurity Node aims to contribute to faster and more secure digitization of Swedish industries and the public sector. “Sweden excels in bringing industries and academia together to innovate and accelerate development. PrimeKey is enthusiastic about collaborating with other members of the Node, both academia and other companies in this ever-important field,” says Admir Abdurahmanovic, PrimeKey Co-founder and VP of Strategy and Partnerships. “We believe that our 20 years of experience in the development and delivery of world-leading PKI and digital signing products to enterprises and public authorities around the world will make us effective contributors.” The Swedish National Cybersecurity Node was officially launched on December 4th, 2020, and PrimeKey became a member the same month.
