What we are looking for

PrimeKey is looking for a full-time or part-time HR Generalist who can build a new HR department. This is a new role. It is expected that most of the work will be carried out from our PrimeKey office in Aachen, Germany. A valid working permit for Germany is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Own, drive and develop all HR areas for the Aachen office, including but not limited to recruitment, pre-/onboarding, employer branding, performance management and learning & development. 

  • Be an active part of our local management group by connecting the overarching goals of the office with supporting HR processes and projects. 

  • Own the overall recruitment plan for the office and ongoing recruit talent. 

  • Analyze and convert qualitative and quantitative data on employee engagement into actionable plans to improve the workplace and our leadership. 

  • Support managers and co-workers with HR-related matters. 

  • Drive independent initiatives and projects to improve our culture and HR-related processes. 

  • Be an active contributor to peers within the HR team, aiming to strengthen cross-office collaborations and develop joint high standards in all HR practices across the PrimeKey Group. 

  • HR administration of e.g. employee surveys, pensions, insurances, HR system and basic payroll. 

Experience

Highly valued personal qualifications and competencies are as follows: 

  • BA in HR or relevant area.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles, preferably from a fast-paced organization and/or scale-up.
  • A bold and innovative mindset, keen on developing current practices and aligning our HR strategies with core business impact.
  • Considerable experience in coaching and supporting management groups, managers and co-workers. 
  • Experience from working with and leveraging a modern HR stack to ensure efficient processes and data-driven decision making.
  • Familiar with German employment laws and related regulations.
  • Great recruitment skills and ability to recruit for technical roles. Experience from recruiting talent within digital marketing, development and data is a strong plus. 
  • High knowledge of German Labour law and other HR-related and applicable laws. 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and German.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively and responsibly and to take own initiative.
  • Positive and customer focused.
  • Structured and organized.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Easily cooperates with others.
