Tech / Pre-Sales – PrimeKey Sales

The PrimeKey Sales department is responsible for the sales of our products through online marketing, trade shows, channel and direct sales. We help our customers with design, product guidance and solution recommendations for their PKI implementations, and we are also responsible for providing technical sales support to both potential and existing customers with a focus on the customer needs.

This position will support the Sales Managers in the sales process with technical know-how regarding design, implementation, standards, and functionality of PrimeKey products.

The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a successful candidate will be working with the Sales Team on multiple proposals and customer discussions. The individual will be required to work closely with all relevant teams and departments such as Professional Services, and Product Development.

We are looking at strengthening our teams in both APAC and Europe. For the candidates in Europe, French language skills will be a meriting. A valid working permit for the hiring location, and the ability to travel freely, is a requirement for this position. Responsibilities include:

  • Aggregate and tailor technical documents needed for specific tenders or projects
  • Create system designs based on customer inputs
  • Create technical proposals
  • Support Sales Managers in customer discussions
  • Analyze requirements and customer demands
  • Provide estimations on project scope
  • Provide demonstrations on PrimeKey products
  • Help the customer conduct successful Proof-of-Concepts
  • Perform customer workshops
  • Participate in and be the technical recourse at trade shows
  • Participate in improvements of our offering process
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are of high technical quality
  • Ensure that proper technical documentation is provided in proposals
  • Perform training on concepts and products
  • Keeping track of relevant industry standards

Background and personal qualities

  • University degree preferably within Technology
  • 7+ years of Technical support / Tech Sales / Pre-sales / Development
  • Good understanding of the IT industry in general and IT security in particular
  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to develop, articulate and execute compelling value propositions
  • A strong sense for what customer service means in practice
  • Experience working with both partners and direct sales
  • Customer facing experience, preferably in a consultancy /advisory role with strong relationship building skills at all levels – both internally & externally
  • Proven skills in PKI and related standards
  • Proven experience of working on multiple tasks or projects at any one time
  • Demonstrable and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent, clear and transparent communication skills and the ability to communicate across. different cultures / geographic regions
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills including ability to make professional presentations
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and directed: able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Highly flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies
  • Good proficiency in English is a requirement

It will also be advantageous if you have understanding and general knowledge of IT-systems, Linux, open source software, databases and the likes.
