Product Marketing Manager

The Role

The Product Marketing Manager will facilitate sales in all the different verticals where our technologies can be applied. It ranges from governments, utilities, medical, finance, insurance, to industrial applications and IoT. Anywhere the digital information must keep its integrity intact; PrimeKey has an opportunity. Digitalization, Connectivity, Cloud and the overall awareness of IT security risks are important drivers in our industry.

This position will have the responsibility to communicate our value proposition to the different stakeholders in the organization and in the different market verticals. It involves identification of use cases as well as describing those in white papers, brochures, success stories, proposals etc. All with the aim of making our products and solutions easy to understand and consume. With focus on explaining a complex technology in a market friendly way, a solid foundation in technology and IT is a requirement for this role.

The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will be working with several stakeholders both internally and externally, including Product Development, Sales, Professional Services, PR-agencies, print shops, exhibition centers etc.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, the daily work will be conducted in close collaboration with both Product Managers and the CMO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Produce and manage material such as product presentations, technical white papers, brochures, success stories, business case proposals etc.
  • Identify use cases and solution packages, and market those in the applicable channels
  • Produce and deliver messages in suitable channels, web, social media etc.
  • Support sales in customer facing activities
  • Drive continuous improvements of how our offering is positioned, packaged and marketed

It is expected that most of the work will be carried out from PrimeKey head offices in Stockholm, Sweden but international travels will be required.

A valid working permit for Sweden is a requirement for this position.

Background and personal qualities

To be successful in this role you are most likely experienced in:

  • Customer facing experience, preferably in international sales or product marketing
  • Highly tuned organization skills
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and directed: able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies and concepts
  • Proven experience of working on multiple tasks or projects at any one time
  • Experience in working to targets and motivating individuals to achieve them
  • Engineering background and/or technical experience
  • A thorough understanding of digital marketing channels as well as marketing automation

It will also be advantageous if you have an understanding and general knowledge of IT security, PKI, and open source software.
