The role

We are looking for a Linux / Network Administrator that can help us maintain and develop our IT environment and support our users. Are you the one we’re looking for? If so, you probably have at least a couple of years’ experience of Linux system administration and network configuration. Perhaps even some experience of managing Linux / OSX / Windows clients. Regardless, a service minded approach is a must!

  • Designing, maintaining, developing, documenting, and securing our IT infrastructure
  • Coordinating and driving IT infrastructure related questions across our offices around the world
  • Supporting your colleagues with IT/Client related issues and questions
  • Managing and maintaining internal IT security policies

Background and personal qualities

There are many ways to get the expertise required for this role and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent is of course meriting, but not required. To be successful in this role you most likely have:

  • Good knowledge of administrating Linux based infrastructure
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP and of setting up and maintaining network infrastructure
  • Experience of managing firewalls and routers
  • Experience of maintaining web servers and applications
  • Knowledge of managing Linux / OSX / Windows clients
  • Understanding of IT-security
  • Experience of infrastructure automation, virtualization and version control systems are meriting

It’s great if you’ve got understanding and general knowledge of PKI, open source software, databases, and the likes. If not, you’ll surely get that here.
